If there are no objections to your scheme, this process should take anywhere between 1 day ( Single Window Submission in Corporations) or a couple of weeks. Please check the official procedure beforehand, to avoid last-minute inconveniences. In some Panchayats, it is not required to submit building plans before construction. However, in other Panchayats, Municipalities and Corporations, the design should adhere to the Kerala Municipality Building Rules. You can get a copy of the same from any leading Book Shop in Kerala.
